The 2016 Tournament of Champions will feature a single 12 hour day format for the top 20 qualifying teams!
This ‘coastal’ event held Saturday October 15th, will feature 12 hours of competition, with an interesting twist offered to the competitors. All spotted bay bass weighed at this event will have their weights multiplied by 2.5. For example: if a team targets spotted bay bass only for the event and bring 10 lbs of spotties to the scale, that weight will be multiplied by 2.5 equaling 25 Lbs. ! Teams can bring any combination of the 3 species they wish, however ONLY the spotted bay bass will have the weight-increase added to their final tally.
Basic entry for the event is $100, with ‘2’, $50 side pots offered, Mega-Bag, and ‘Big Fish’. Pay-Out for the event is 100% and will be as follows; 1st Place-55%, 2nd Place-30%, and 3rd place-15%. This scale will also apply to Side-Pots as well. As there will be no Captains meeting for this event, we encourage pre-paying online via PayPal, or paying the morning of the event in cash. Thank you.
The start of the event will be ‘Shotgun Format’ from the 5 MPH buoy at 5:00 am sharp following the National Anthem. Check-in for weigh-in will be on the launch ramp side of the Rainbow bridge. All teams must be past the bridge no later than 5:00 pm. Scales will be open at 3:00 pm for teams wishing to weigh-in early.

Below is a list of qualifying teams for the 2016 TOC. Keep in mind there was essentially ‘2’ AOY Races going on over the course of the season. This is reflected in the columns marked ‘SWBA AOY Total’ , and ‘SWBA/SBS Total’. Teams fishing all 5 regular season events were allowed to replace their lowest score with a 1 required ‘SBS’ event score. The teams of Let’s Fishing, Rock Hopper, Kelptagious, and SS@MB qualified by fishing 4 SBS events and a minimum of 2 SWBA events. *** Note: Click [Show __entries] below, and select ’25’ to see the entire field.
